1. Who we are

Mecavoy is operated by Mecavoy LC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, entity ID 2026-002066107, whose registered office is at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #38404, Casper, Wyoming 82609, United States ("Mecavoy", "we", "us").

2. The free year of Plus

2.1 What you get

Twelve months of Mecavoy Plus, normally $89 a year, at no cost, applied automatically to the first Mecavoy account opened with the email address you subscribed with.

The benefits of that tier are those published on our pricing page at the time your free year begins, and they may change as the product does. What will not change is the length: twelve months, free.

2.2 Who can claim it

To claim the free year you must, at the time you open your account:

1. be aged 18 or over;
2. be legally resident in the United States; and
3. have subscribed at mecavoy.com with that address.

Multiple email addresses belonging to the same person count as one person, and we will treat addresses that differ only by dots or a +tag as the same address.

2.3 California, Florida, Hawaii and Washington

You can subscribe, and you can open an account and plan trips from launch. What you cannot do yet is book travel through Mecavoy. Those four states regulate anyone selling travel to their residents, wherever the seller is based, and we do not hold those registrations at launch. We are applying for them and expect to be open for booking in all four by December 2027. We will email you when your state opens.

Your free year is held, not spent: the twelve months start on the day booking opens in your state, so you get a full year of the whole product rather than most of a year of a version you cannot book through. Until then your account sits on the free Registered tier, which is a real planning tool in its own right.

You then have six months from that day to start it. Booking is expected to open in all four states in December 2027, so in practice that is a deadline around the middle of 2028 — and we will email you on the day your state opens, with the exact date. The 31 July 2027 deadline in 2.6 does not apply to you; this one does.

This turns on where you live, not where you happen to be browsing from: a Washington resident planning a trip from a hotel in Denver is still a Washington resident, and a Colorado resident on holiday in Miami is still a Colorado resident. We go by the address on your account, never your IP address.

2.4 How to claim it

There is nothing to claim. Confirm your subscription, then open an account with the same address when Mecavoy launches in January 2027, and the membership applies itself. No code, no card, no trial that quietly becomes a charge. The offer applies to the first account opened with that address — a second account on the same address does not get a second year.

2.5 When it runs out

Your free year begins on the day the account is opened — or, for the four states in 2.3, on the day booking opens there — and runs for twelve months. We will email you before it ends. It does not auto-renew into a paid subscription: when the year is up the account reverts to the free Registered tier and stays there unless you choose to subscribe. Anything you created while a member stays yours, though anything above the free tier's limits becomes read-only.

2.6 Limits

One free year per person. The offer has no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or combined with another offer, and the account must be opened by 31 July 2027. That is a deadline for opening the account, not for using the year — your twelve months run from the day the account opens, so an account opened on the last day still gets the full year. Residents of the four states in 2.3 have their own, later deadline, set out there. We may withdraw the offer for accounts we reasonably believe were created to claim it more than once, and we may end it for new subscribers at any time — doing so never affects anyone who has already subscribed.

3. Email and marketing policy

3.1 What you agreed to

When you ticked the box on the signup page you told us we may email you when Mecavoy launches, send you occasional updates while we build it, and send you Mecavoy promotions and offers. We store the exact wording you saw, the version of it, and the time you ticked it, so that what you agreed to is a matter of record rather than of memory.

3.2 Stopping them

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe, and we honour it immediately rather than taking the time some rules allow. You can also reply to any of them and ask. We never sell your address, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing. Our email provider handles delivery on our behalf and does nothing else with it.

When you unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression list and delete everything else we held with it. We keep the address itself precisely so that we never mail you again by accident — a list of people not to contact only works if it has their addresses on it.

3.3 Your personal information

Your subscriber record holds your email address; the exact wording of the consent you gave, its version, and the time you gave it; the fact that it was given through a web form; a salted one-way hash of your IP address; your browser's user agent; and which page you subscribed from. We use all of it to send you the emails you asked for and to keep bots off the form.

Your raw IP address is never written to that record — only the salted hash, which cannot be turned back into an address. Separately, and like almost every site, our content delivery network keeps ordinary web access logs of requests to mecavoy.com, and those do contain the IP address they came from. They are kept for 90 days, used for security and diagnostics, and never joined to your subscriber record or used for marketing.

4. General

We may amend these terms where something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If we do, we will publish the change on this page and will not disadvantage anyone who has already subscribed in reliance on the old terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and of the United States, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Wyoming courts. If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest stands.
